The US had a large German population. The Japanese did a surprise attack and I sure that it stirred up a lot of fear of the US Japanese ,concentration camps and all. Every cartoon, news reel, the news papers demonized the Japanese and they were look upon as subhuman . There were Japanese that were serving in army units in Europe , that were highly decorated.

They can get irritated when it keeps going. One time the oldest girl came in crying really loud and kind of to the point that I thought they were in a car wreck or something. It was over a bad hair cut. I was relieved that nothing bad happened , and I started jamming Aero Smith's 'You See Me Crying', there's a part where it's 'honey what you done to your hair',. She wasn't happy. Haha
