Since when are an addiction and an involuntary bodily function considered equal? The guy has a fucking choice to quit, whereas the woman has to menstruate every fucking month whether she wants to or not. She can't just say 'You know what? I don't need my period this month.' and not fucking menstruate. She has to. People with addictions are fully capable of quitting, they just choose not to.
