I wouldn't call it defensive, I'd call it replying to your question. But hey ho, LOL

I don't know if it is just a British thing, but I've definitely heard women referred to by men as 'dogs' as an offensive term of phrase. I was beyond the point of tiredness yesterday, so my brain went to that rather than the literal meaning

I'm so tired I didn't realise it meant literal dogs. Instead I thought it was a derogatory term for girls and went 'oh, how very rude' until realising that it literally means dogs. I ought to sleep really.
I think most of us have built up a tolerance for pizza lava. 5 comments

Given I don't eat pizza, I've never had this particular problem. However, I do often burn my tongue drinking tea when it's too hot, so it's all swings and roundabouts.

When a song's lyrics applies to you 7 comments

This feeling tends to happen with me with The Maine. Their music never fails to give me goosebumps, and particularly with the songs 'Misery' and 'Fucked Up Kids'. Not a day goes past where I don't listen to them to be honest.

I ended up with a low C, which I was chuffed with to be honest. I never have and never will be good at Science, I've come to terms with that. And Maths, I suck at Maths.

I am awful at Chemistry. Abysmal really. But my initials in my name are KB. And I'm really uncreative with usernames, so thought 'Oh yeah, potassiumboron will do, just sign me up'

There was a girl in my class at school who cried after one of our mock exams because she had an A and wanted an A*. I had a B, and was pretty proud of it because I'm awful at Chemistry, and she said: "You really shouldn't be proud of that, it just shows you haven't revised" which was nice of her to say.

Awesome letter from the vet after putting down a dog 13 comments

How very sensitive of you. I like to think of this as a physical reminder of all the memories they had with their dog, and something to remember him/her by. As someone who has lost two cats, one of which had to be put down, I'd have absolutely treasured something like this, I think it's compassionate and rather beautiful.
