I stare at Electoral College maps a lot of the day hoping it sinks in so I get good grades.

I'm Welsh, and given some time, I can definitely name all the states. Geographically, I could probably label on a blank map about half of them. I do study US Politics though, and spend a lot of time studying the Electoral College maps and... I'm not making myself sound cool here at all.
