I think that it was Adam Hills on the last leg that said he'd send them out there. A week later, loads of people had said they'd help to pay. As it was the week after Robin Williams had died, he said that everyone who had offered to pay should give the money to charities that Robin Williams had supported instead

And the TV shows are no way near as dark as the films, they're actually really funny, if angsty
