If they wanted to further their relationship, it helps to have some stability. She obviously isn't the right person for him, and he for her, because she wants a financially stable home/relationship/whatever and he wants to follow his dreams. Both are admirable. I know I would break up with someone who didn't want me to follow my dreams, but I wouldn't have a relationship with someone who couldn't support themself, let alone a potential family.

At my school, we learned about slaves in America for 4 years by the time we reached high school. (it's elementary and middle school) Teaching only the oppressed/losing side has it's issues as well. If you never learn about great leaders and terrible, but popular ones, it will be harder to see through presidential candidates' bs. So far, at my school I have learned about all the terrible, horrible, things that America has done. We have yet to learn about WWII or how America was made to provide a free country. Before we go into the whole "NSA" business, which I agree is bad, there are countries where people cannot speak against their government without facing consequences. Though I agree that the USA has many things to improve on, the fact that we can criticize it means that Americans are freer than many, many other people. Peace out

Domesticated animals like sheep don't have survival skills and are bred to produce wool. They need to be sheared regularly so they don't look like the abominable snowman. Same goes for pigs: the pigs you see in the wild have been adapting to their environment since they were babies. Basically, we have all been raised in an environment that is semi-controlled and doesn't require us to fight and murder for survival. (Most of the people in FIRST world countries) If there was no government, there would be no punishment for rape, theft, and other crimes.
