Anyone who expects a 480' building for only $200k deserves to be taken advantage of.

A lot of that is a shitty deal for sure. If there's one profession that should obey the law it's the enforcers. I say throw the book at the cop.
.
Also, i assume the mother didn't properly buckle her child. And if that's true there should probably be chargers (and serious ones). Child safety restraints are no joke. EVERY parent should study proper safety restraint like their children's lives depend on it, because they do.

shikharizard, don't let them get under your skin. I understand how frustrating it is when people attribute your success to luck. it really boils down to coveting and envy.

You will need to try things you're not comfortable with, take risks you dont feel good about. And you'll have to fail..... a lot. The only catch is that you must learn from your mistakes and you cant quit. That's how life works.

I'm on the old side of the millenial spectrum and grew up well below a middle class income but i see things differently. At the age of 17, my grandfather lied about his age, joined the Marines, and sailed to Okinawa to fight to preserve the individual opportunity that the United States had created. At 17 years old he crawled below enemy machine gun fire with a pistol on his hip and a belt of grenades in his teeth. He was shot twice on this little maneuver but he was able to neutralize the Japanese machine gunners who held his unit pinned to fox holes. He recieved the Navy Cross and a Purple Heart for saving his platoon.
.
My point is that the millenial generation is not the first generation to face big problems, and it certainly wont be the last. You've been lied too your whole life about what you should expect in return for studying hard in school and choosing a degree that you feel passionate about. The reality is that your success is up to you to make and it wont be easy.

I'm certainly not suggesting that all people have equal opportunity. I'm only suggesting that that our time is better served seeking out that opportunity rather than protesting it's adequacy.
.
The united states has it's problems. But i'd much rather live with those problems (in a country that allowed me to take care of myself, my family, and my community) v.s. a country where i relied on a government to take care of me and all the problems that come with that.

I guess my point is that none of us could ever possibly know all of the opportunities that exist in this country because there are so many. The sheer number of options available for people to carve out a living in the United States has never been greater (here or anywhere). The only requirement is that we have to accept the reality that its up to us (as individuals) to drive it.
.
To talk about home ownership as if it were unattainable is ignorant and reckless. Its ignorant because there are hundreds of thousands of first time home owners every year. And it's reckless because young people are going to read this crap and never even try because the believe its "utterly impossible".
.
You talk about overthrowing some governmental status quo before you even know a fraction about this country has to offer. So I when you ask me what you're supposed to do i would simply say this: stand up, take ownership of your life and jump into the world. Take risks, make mistakes, learn...

You know, you're right. You're doomed. There's nothing you can do except complain online to strangers.

The saying isn't "if you like her, go talk to her and she'll be your girlfriend without question."
Maybe it's just advice in the sense that you might regret it if you choose to not talk to her?

Yes. "Widely believed" meaning all spectrums of media are carrying the story. I know you're just a kid but you should think more before you start typing.

Jeremy is probably right though. Cohen said, under oath, that he never sought a position in Trump's office but it's widely believed that there is ample evidence that he did.

True. But should we be grateful that the medical assistance exists or should we upset that someone can help us and they have the audacity to demand compensation for their abilities.
