I've had 2 iPhones that have 'malfunctioned' for no apparent reason. The most noteable thing was on my iPhone 3. Around the release of iPhone 4, the camera began to play up. More specifically the camera worked fine. But the buttons to take photo/video did not work. About 4-5 months later it suddenly started working again and about a month after that it crapped itself when I plugged it in to charge it. (On a power point with a surge protector.) refused to turn on even if plugged in.
And now with my iPhone 4. It worked fine till I updated it for the 1st time 2 months ago (when I got Pokemon go ) now it lags like crazy and constantly crashes on me.

Agreed. I got it on my Iphone4 and it constantly crashes every time I use a poke stop or catch a Pokemon. And the VR makes it crash when I encounter a Pokemon too.
