To ns's question: if god is all powerful, as many monotheistic religions state, why did it take him so long to create the universe? Because we believe in a God of order, relationship and love. If you think about it, it's very impersonal if this omnipotent God just snapped his fingers and said, "There! A world, live in it and worship me." No, we believe everything he made was made with care and constant thought to his greatest creation which is man. We are "fearfully (meaning with respect) and wonderfully made." And it took 6 literal days to create this world and on the seventh he rested not because of exhaustion or fatigue but because he sanctified that day to create a relationship with Adam and Eve. I'm not trying to put down evolution or prove it wrong because tbh, I really don't know enough about it (not because I've it pushed away). But I do know about Christianity and the God I claim to believe in and I wanted to clarify it like you've all clarified evolution.

I'm not sure how it happens, I'm guessing it's genetic because of this picture, but it's when your eyes are two different colors.
