Actually, pink used to be a masculine color and blue was a feminine color. Pink was thought to be a strong color, so it represented men, and blue was thought to be a delicate color, so it represented women. In concentration camps, Adolf Hitler, for classification purposes, ordered those who could be "cured" (homosexuals) to wear pink triangles. By then, pink was associated with females.
I don't hate homosexuals, if you're wondering.
