One time, we were looking for a person trying to pour poison in the city's well. I was looking for the well, which was almost literally right in front of us (I was new and wanted to roll for everything), and rolled a 2. The DM couldn't say I didn't see the well, so he said, "You are temporarily struck blind."

It's not the crying that does it. It's the emotional release associated with crying. It's called catharsis.

Not to mention, the insinuation with the picture is that the villain for daredevil is the punisher, which is false. The punisher is an anti-hero.

Wrong. Heroes have a vision for the world too. They battle the villain because the villain stands in the way of that world.

I absolutely use dolled up, though it usually is used in reference to someone wearing makeup who normally doesn't, rather than clothes.

I actually once read a cross-over lotr/hp fanfic that explains house elves are descended from orcs.

He got an Oscar nomination for the first pirates, but lost because the academy tends to look down on performances in major blockbusters. It was a double screw on it, since it was also a comedic role, which also tend to be looked down on.

I'm fond of Chris Jericho's old phrase, and it seems appropriate in this instance: they are a bunch of assclowns!

He's had Oscar-worthy roles in the past, and when he's doing a "normal" role, he's still quite good. But he needs to stay away from Tim burton now. Those two are no longer a good combination.

At least, in American football. Not sure which it is meant to refer to.

Actually, probably not inaccurate, as the player wearing 79 is likely a lineman (so probably around 300 lbs or more), while the player wearing 36 is either a running back or defensive back (likely between 200-240 lbs). At full speed, that doesn't end well for #36...

At least we didn't have to suffer through the planned season after that, with Beckitt being written off the show. Pretty sure the finale would have killed her off had they not cancelled the show, which would have sucked.

What's amazing about mass effect, is that almost nothing in it is original. It all is based on other sci-if stories. However, they are all twisted just enough to not be blatant rip-offs, and they put together into a melting pot of ideas that come together into a beautifully unified, completely original whole.

Yeah, that scene was amazing. Though I do feel the show's quality dropped after they finally hooked up, as shows based on UST between the main characters often do.
