For me it depends on the manga or anime in question. For example: I love the Sailor Moon manga, but despise the original anime.

People who think anything that's animated is for kids have always confused me. It was this logic that led to my aunt letting my younger cousin watch family guy. He was four. As you could imagine, it scared the ever living fuck out of him.

Me neither but the point is Disney's done this before. Also, as mentioned by another commenter, Lilo and Stitch is another disney movie that focused on sibling relationship rather than love

This, the GameCube opening, and the GameBoy Advance opening, those have to be the most nostalgic things to me

I'm sorry, but the Toy Story franchise had it's perfect ending with the third movie, and lately Pixar has been beating it into the ground with a bunch of 'Toy Story shorts' as well as the incredibly half assed 'Toy Story of Terror' so that's why we don't exactly have high hopes for Toy Story 4

Yeahhhh.... Considering the disappointment that was the 'toy story of terror', I don't think Toy Story 4 sounds too promising. Come on guys, did anyone really want this? Anyone? Anyone at all?

I've always been afraid to make this comparison because I know most people won't get it

Yep. Just lock myself in my room with my anime disks and my Playstation and I could probably last for years

I'm not so sure about that. I do recall getting this picture in a magazine called Cat Fancy before, and sometimes photographers leave signatures

I thought it was funny, reading Mopargirl's calm little comment, then being greeted by an attack of caps locks

A couple things.
Disney channel existed in the 90s.
People born in 1996-1999 are considered 2000s kids so technically we have a 1 in our birth year too.
Also Harry Potter was still being written in the 2000s so you can't totally claim that

Look up Nostalgia Critic's review. He points out a lot more things than I have, also his review contains a fair amount of the movie if you just want a refresher

He didn't do much as far as villains go, if you go back and watch the movie again it's easy enough to make the argument that he was just trying to keep his buisness going, and his buisness happened to be scaring people with things in his circus, all you can be mad at him for would be getting a bit greedy, and again, this is for such a short period of time that death wasn't necesary, especially after he loses everything
