its called a rolling shutter... the shutter is already half ways closed when the flash went off exposing the second half of the sensor to the light of the flash.

My friends and I used to know where the spare keys were hidden or keypad combos for the garage doors. It was nothing to come home to a friend already there or sitting at the dinner table eating with my parents and vice versa.

Interesting... I was just thinking when I first saw this that looks like it could be extremely unstable.

Same... its gotten to the point where the roommates and I will text each other if one leaves the house and fed the dog. He is so convincing in acting like he hasn't been fed.
