There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part.

I found this article from back in 2012, it looks like the blue and green honey came from eating Mar's factory waste- the byproduct of the candy: http://geekologie.com/2012/10/french-bees-product-blue-honey-after-eat.php

Trichtophobia is the fear of loose hairs, sometimes it refers to the fear of hair, period.- I am not sure what you all are referring to but you can Google it and see that's what it is. **I just asked my psychologist friend and she said the term is Trypophobia: a couple of letters different. I didn't know the name, but I knew the hair one- I have that in a minor way lol. My fault!

Just to clarify, it was Mrssparkles I was backing up on her own words of apology and regret for posting this, way up early on the thread. I do believe someone sincerely apologizes, they deserve a second chance. I stand by my comment at the time it was made.

I don't feel the need to defend myself or my work, but it's worth noting 1 out of every 4 women and 1 out of every 9 men are sexually assaulted by age 30, so saying that only personal experience validates offense is like throwing a rock into a river- everyone is touched by this crime and its ripples. If you have not personally been, count yourself very lucky.

Okay, let me first say that having worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault my entire adult life I know how deeply offensive and triggering this humor can be, and I respect everyone's right to feel offended.

But for a moment I think we need to remember that as a society, especially our younger members are conditioned to think of this sort of humor as "edgy" and "cool," especially on the internet when there is no face, no actual person to see their reaction. You are virtually anonymous, with no real repercussions.

I think this was a mistake on Sparks part, and one we all have made in one way or another. If we're as open minded as we credit ourselves for, we should give her the benefit of the doubt, and move on. I doubt this is a sign of her character or anything that would have happened offline- she's apologized and expressed regret. Let's move on.

It was daylight savings times you are thinking of that were referenced by Ben Franklin- but in a satirical essay, he never thought the idea would actually be implemented. Check out snopes! http://www.snopes.com/science/daylight.asp

This is just a size comparison, not a population comparison lol. If it was comparing population we would have Japan or China with New York up there :-)

I think having an ice cream truck and llamas is the best way to deal with a ridiculous load of money and fame lol. And as a ginger, it's pretty hardcore to be one, so bonus points to you, Grint

That's because of Alaska- Alaska is huge, you stick it over the continental US and it's covering a really built part of it.

I think a few of the examples on the left are American movies which they hired European actors to play Easterners. Does anyone else recognize that actor?

There is a female artist who has this, and makes beautiful work. I wish I could Google and look for her, but my network is super slow today. But I bet she is easy to find, and it's really cool to see!

You all should check out this article on reverse racism and prejudicial behaviour- when I was around 19 in Kentucky someone gave me something similar and it really helped my perceptions on race in general: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/07/15/884649/-Why-there-s-no-such-thing-as-Reverse-Racism
