There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part.

If you don't want to click: BUSTED
°
"Explanation: Never mind what the chatterbox in the seat next to you says about cell phones messing with plane navigation — those metallic birds are built airtight against foreign signals and operate on entirely different frequencies than cell phones.
°
So why all the fuss about phones? When you make a call at 10,000 feet, the signal bounces off multiple available cell towers, rather than one at a time. That means too many phone-happy jetsetters might clog up the networks on the ground, which is why the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) — not the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) — banned cell use on planes."

All this is telling me is I went to the wrong college. Or maybe the right one, because I would have sold my textbooks for cookies during some really late nights

I agree bullying is horrible- with that being said, you do realize we can click on your name and see all your comments, right guest? Perhaps you should reflect on the morals you want the world to follow- especially virtual etiquette.

Just wanted to pop in and share a link- in cases where gender is unclear, "they" or "their" are completely acceptable to use, and considered placeholder pronouns that can be substituted for a person's prefered pronoun (if unknown). It's great to ask what pronoun they prefer, but if unsure, these work. Calling someone an "it" or a "thing" is not considered acceptable.
Here is a link to some other tips:

Exactly, should something tragic occur like an illness or car accident- too bad. No exceptions whatsoever.

My guess is that it was taken from a domestic violence site and pasted to that groups feed (which is known for starting incendiary conversations) and hoping people would believe that there is a campaign out there supporting the idea of letting women kill whoever they want violently with absolutely no opposition. Because people do believe weird things.
But we went all through that- hopefully we can all sleep more soundly tonight.

Do you have a case where a 16 or younger kid has been charged with possession of child pornography for having nude pictures sent to them? I can't seem to Google the right keywords to locate one, and you seem very knowledgeable- an example of a boy and a girl and the differences in their charges would be great, thanks :-)

Normally when people have misspellings or grammatical errors in their work it indicates that they gave taught themselves how to both read and comprehend the language they are writing phonetically, or by sound on their own in addition to their classrooms. These are people who have sought knowledge and communication beyond their classes and basic education systems- so why would I mock them for that?

I have never heard of a story where women kept sending nude pictures of themselves constantly and aggressively to anyone, male or female, without their consent and against their will.
°
I am not someone who believes in blackmail, but to be constantly harassed by multiple people in a sexual and unwanted way could make anyone snap- especially a 16 year old kid. I agree that the lesson here is keep your naked self away from cameras.

If you want to see topics people post regardless of likes, I think Fresh would be the place to look. It would have all the posts, regardless of likes, in that section. I am not a fan of this new format either- hopefully they'll adapt some changes to it over the next few months.
