There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part.

My grandparents swore by it- and my mom is just a bit off center. The definition of pollution speaks against nature, actually, being "the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects."
One man's medication can be another man's drug, or poison, pollution, etc. It completely depends on how it's used, distributed, and marketed. Illegal drugs have the same chemical compounds that are found in legal ones, narcotics, barbiturates, etc. It all depends on definition.

Long post, but it has some funny, good tips for everyone! 74 comments

When you're in a group of people all talking and they look over to you and wink, either across the room or across a crowd. It kills me every time

Marijuana is used for medical purposes- it gets murky as to what is a drug and what's not. Whiskey used to be used to treat colic, you know.

There are a lot of places in America that need help too- in most every cause- homelessness, hunger, sicknesses, etc., there are problems right around home you can dig into and make a difference. Of course, making connections in the international community are important and worthy too

I stuck up another post in the talk section so you and others can see just how far things have come for women. Sometimes it's hard to see the forest through the trees. Check it out: http://m.funsubstance.com/fun/133272/why-we-have-a-long-way-to-go-as-humanists-feminists-etc/

Those pictures have been widely discredited, with a few clicks into Google and research into the PFL organization you can learn about the misinformation and shaming tactics they use on women who have had abortions, miscarriages, or are unable to have children. They are not an objective source for information.

I worked with OBGYNs for years, and it's known that 90% of pregnancy terminations take place in the first trimester, largely in the first 8 weeks. The pregnancy sac is about the size of a dime- and this is what it looks like according to actual medical professionals- go to 8 weeks. (no grotesque photo, promise)

Now that photo is back lit to make it clearer, and it's blown up huge. But you can see the idea that it's largely indistinguishable from the cat fetus above, hence the confusion.
