A kid in my class once convinced our Hispanic perminant sub who barely spoke English (our actual teacher had a baby and was out the rest of the year) that he was Amish and couldn't use light bulbs or computers or anything printed off a computer. All his tests were hand written and he never could do homework printed off a computer or something he had to type and our classes were always in the dark. It was the funniest thing ever... A student even told her it was a joke but she thought that the kid was being disrespectful to the "Amish" kids beliefs so the disrespectful kid got detention
