I do that all the time, and I go into silent rage mode.

One time a bird flew right in my face and I didn't even move. My step mom flinched but I just sat there like "oh. Hi birdie". Then about two minutes later I jumped up and yelled "Holy crap! A bird nearly face-offed me!" Sometimes I have delayed reactions.
