No one cares about L being black . The director totally shit on the entire premise. It's no longer about good vs evil (and what those things are) in a battle of wits. It's about a pissy whiny little boy killing off people he doesn't like. It's literally not even the same story or character personalities, but this lazy ass director is trying to play it off like it is. He could have just made a new story, but instead choose to jizz on the entire plot line of one of the greatest stories ever told.
But I guess that's just the American way.

Number one: the idea is right. If a PERSON physically harms another PERSON, then that person deserves equal treatment regardless of gender.

Because you're thinking about it right now, yes. The same song about suicide is about mental illness to another, domestic abuse to the next, substance abuse to another and so on.
Which is why Linkin Park is one of the best bands, with two God's as it's lead and has touched so many damn people.

Hazgar, dude, you gotta brush up on human anatomy and health.
"Skinniness" is in no way equivalent to good health. In fact often times it's as much of an indication of bad health as being over weight can* mean.
Some people find it impossible to gain or lose weight. Some people find it impossible to gain muscle mass and bulk up.
What would be even more fucked up is if both of the people in this post were part of those body types. Although, the woman still deserved it ( actually would deserve it more so) for being the one who opened the dialogue.

It DOES NOT MATTER wether the woman is skinny or over weight, it DOES NOT MATTER if the man is thin or ripped.
Under NO circumstances is this kind behavior EVER appropriate in a relationship.
I do not care what society, reality, friends, parents, even what YOU have to say or think about it. Demeaning your partner ALWAYS makes you a worthless piece of shit.

The suggestion of the OP was not a cure for this situation, but a band aid at best. Arrest with proof would not be fool proof, but neither was the suggestion.
