She was 8 week into her pregnancy when she won it. That's still the stages where you know for sure you're pregnant (first trimester) I'm not to undermine her achievement, just giving insight.
Also, why would a woman's achievement force males to "shut up about everything forever"? Not like we can attempt to win the grand slam while pregnant :/
