You're right, it can ruin lives and real victims are ruined until they get strong enough to deal with it. When you tell someone you trust and they don't believe you, it makes you afraid to tell anyone for fear they'll blame you. It's like prison too! If no one lied, then everyone would believe the people who are real victims.

I have actually been through what you just explained, it pisses me off to no end! It's probably the worst thing you can go through to not be believed, when it's honest to god truth. And you see people who lie, and feel shattered just absolutely destroyed inside wondering why...just why?
