No one wants to shovel in a snow storm. I hate when you manage to shovel out half your drive way, but snow has blown in parts that you just shoveled.

You do realize they are different terms, correct? Medical forms don't need to know your gender, they need to know your sex. In psych research this is a problem we have that messes with data. Also, they shouldn't have an "other" box for sex (in case they have something besides XX or XY) or gender because it does create a response bias. Other is seen as a derogatory term. I'm in the middle of doing research at my university, and this is something we have to account for. They should have had a box that was blank so they could have filled it in - it may take longer to read, but it can give more accurate info, and less of a responding bias.

I still remember running downtown for the bus, my flipflop broke in mid sprint so I had to keep running downtown with only one shoe on. I managed to catch the bus and the driver said nothing about me only having one shoe. Sucks though - I really liked that pair of flipflops.

Seems like it would take longer to core and clean a pepper to drink out of than clean a cup.

Why the down vote? I'm bringing attention that the six months that is mentioned in the picture is not what happened in this case.

What really grinds my gears is that in Wakefields redacted paper, the sample size was only 12 kids. How did that get past the peer review process - that number is not enough for a proper study!! At least give a bigger sample size to fake your data to make it look more statistically significant!

In New York, hospitals have been found to destroy rape kits because they only have to hold them for 30 days. https://broadly.vice.com/en_us/article/d3d5jz/public-hospitals-in-nyc-have-destroyed-over-800-rape-kits-since-2012

He'll probably be asked to cover the paint up too. People who have HOA know they are expected to follow the rules they set out. My bf's brother was told he couldn't paint their house a certain shade of brown because there were too many homes in the area with the same colour. If you don't want to deal with the HOA, don't move there.

It's my job to be happy and sociable so you come back to the business and my boss makes money - not for you to hit on me like a creep because I'm "interested".

Was wearing my 'Ewok' hat in Europe (I'm from Canada) and I saw someone who looked like me wearing the same thing. Scariest moment in my life.

When I had my beginners license and was driving with my mother, I had an Eminem album playing and she was silent the entire ride and when we got home, she said "(my name), that music is not nice you shouldn't be listening to it."
