Economically, the only way to get things of value, is to put a price on it and be willing to buy it. WIthout a price set by individual companies, but set by governments, the drive to make profit is no longer there, so the government will spend a certain amount on healthcare depending on budget not depending on the people that are in need, because once again, they aren't profiting from it. Whereas, if it was a company, they'd want to profit, so they will cater to as many people they can cater to while still profiting.
