In Arizona, the governors son had a dog care place that was advertised as a large farm where the dogs could explore and would be fed good, homegrown meals. In reality, the guy put all of the 20+ dogs in a shed with exposed wires and little food and water. One of the digs chewed through the wire that controlled air conditioning, which ended up killing all of the dogs due to the extreme heat in the shed and little water. Because he was the governor's son, almost all of the owner dropped charges, and when asked to apologize, the owner of the establishment said that human lives are worth far more that a dogs, and refused to apologize in any way.
