I did not read the book, I have watched the movie and it was good. Although, I believe that novel is more richer than the movie? The story was great tho. No matter the medium.

I literally cannot understand how cooking can be considered girly? Most of the professional chefs are men. Even if you are not a professional chef and only cook for yourself or your family, you are giving them food. You are allowing people to experience the feeling that is good food. There is no gender to cooking. It transcends beyond our societal norms and standards. Cooking is a gift of life and food.
