I'm all for giving employees the proper training they need. Still as a manager, if there was a computer position open and one person already had a lot of the skills and another would need extensive training, I would pick the person I didn't need to training. Personally, I have moved up in my company by being the one who learns the skills for the next rung.

No I totally agree that you shouldn't be mean, but I think we have lost context for "being offended". Extreme example: My friend's kid said "cheese" in a vegan restaurant and she was worried about offending people... like vegans know cheese is a thing.

Agreed. I worry that misandrists are just setting everyone back. Really gender equality should be good for men too. They shouldn't be discriminated against in cases of child custody or paternity leave or wadge inequality or when they are victims of rape.

OMG, that's not what feminism is. Feminism is about having the ability to open your own door, not insisting no one else does it. This post is just two people spouting their opinion like they have all the answers. Frankly, I don't want to be friends with either one of them.

but people on Tumblr are triggered by everything. Only about 7% of Americans use twitter. Look up, "7 Surprising Statistics About Twitter in America" and only aboutt 6% of internet users use Tumblr. They will not give you an accurate read on gay rights, gun safety, gender equality, race equality or really any emotional charged issue.

Feminism doesn't. There are a few outspoken people in every group that make everyone else look bad. Feminism is about equal rights and freedom from public scorn and should not shame you for your choices. If you want to wear make up, dress in drag, be a stay at home mom, never have children, eat meat, be a vegan. Its up to you.
