I'm not disagreeing with you, but it is funny that there is an expected etiquette to online posting.

My issue with that statement is that it goes the other way as well. Generation "Z" (those currently 19 and younger) has the idea that others must earn their respect. However, they expect respect without proof that they deserve it. This isn't my theory, but it is what some sociologist have concluded and I have yet to run into evidence to the contrary.
