I can't even remember (and don't want to swim through eons of text to find out) how this argument progressed. I think we left the debate there because we were tired of arguing. And it was a year ago.

Yep, I haven't seen much of the episodes of Samurai Jack, but it is all this sort of humour. I laughed in that episode where he turns into a chicken.

If it became a dead language, it would be incredibly hard to learn about music (especially from not well known artists) from the past.

I agree with the above comments, but God is all powerful. Most times people must fend for themselves, but as Jesus said in Matthew 17:20,
"assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

If you have enough faith, it certainly will be cured. But, God's will may include you seeking medical attention anyway. With God all things are possible, but not always in the way you expect or want.
