It was nighttime. My parents were going to sleep. I was brushing my teeth. When suddenly, I knocked the empty shampoo bottle onto the ground. The earth shook. It was as if time itself stood still. I gingerly picked the bottle up, and placed it carefully back on its perch. This was the second of my two fatal mistakes. I knocked it on the ground, again by accident. My father got up to inspect the noise, only to find an embarrassed son and a fallen shampoo bottle.
