Honestly, I think it would be better in a different Pokéball. The masterball gives no choice to the one being caught, whereas any other type does.

Charmander is best out of all the Kanto starters, Feraligatr is Johto’s, all 3 Hoenn starters are amazing, Empoleon is Sinnoh’s best, Unova’s are stupid, Kalos are kinda boring or weak (Chesnaught has the most weaknesses out of all starters) (don’t hate me because I don’t like Greninja, I just find frogs weird) and Alola’s Decidueye is decent (not a fan of the overly manly macho-cat or the 87.5% male mermaid-sea lion).
