I wish they would have, shown them that there are actually consequences for their actions. everybody involved should have been thrown in a cell or shot on the spot

Yeah, wouldn't it be cool if our government did anything about the terrorists in our own country (Antifa)

Yeah, the way they took things was too far in the wrong way. It could have been a good movement and you guys can downvote me all you want, it's not going to change the fact that somethings do have to change, just not in the way they are trying to now

Unpopular opinion: They had such a great movement, but as soon as a few bad apples joined in they lost all support. It's really sad and I hope that things change, but up here around where I live BLM has so much hate directed at them now

Amazon just hired 80,000 workers 11 comments

Their warehouses are so large (roughly 1,000,000 sq/ft) that most employees dont interact. Plus each warehouse only uses ~600-800 employees per shift. All employees are required to get their temperature taken before shift, there are handwashing stations and masks for everybody along with plexiglas walls where some workers work close together. Also I can't find any recent protests for safety (last one was April 24th) so if you could link that to me so if I'm wrong I can learn something that would be great :D

Here is a good scientific paper on the differences in the testing and why the EU has not accepted the IARC's assessment : ncbi-nlm-nih-gov/pmc/articles/PMC5515989/

Speculation: But I believe that is only because the IARC did an assessment on Glyphosate that resulted in more cases of cancer than the EU / WHO and FAO organizations assessments which resulted in people believing that Roundup causes cancer.

Well in high doses Glyphosate (main ingredient in herbicides) is known to cause cancer. Though the amount found on / in your food is low enough that (at this point in research) it will not cause any adverse health effects. So as long as you aren't huffing Round up you'll be fine (probably)

But they don't come into contact with the public. What about more important hazard pay for the retail workers who actually have to help customers face to face

Kind of misleading as they have to land for food and water like all other creatures. They however don't have to land on land since they adapted to their ocean environment

At this point we might as well just remove the word offensive because I bet somebody is offended by it
