Yes! He could propose with a ring pop and I'd say yes. If you truly love him and can see yourself spending the rest of your life with that person, the size of the ring shouldn't matter. If you want to get something more durable later in life, you two can decide that. But marriage is about the love shared between two people, not the objects or wealth.
