Yeah, very true.
Also, if you really want to have a good time, get a bunch of kids together with white tshirts, water guns, and non toxic tie dye. Load the guns with tie dye and let the kids have at it.

I realize that telling him to stop and getting away are not out of the question. But if you ever actually find yourself in that circumstance its terrifying. What if he doesn't take no. What if he hurts you more for fighting back. You could wind up dead in a ditch and they may never trace it back to this creep. However if you play along, you can probably get yourself out of this with minimal damage.
This is the problem inherent within the idea of rape being "continuing when someone says no " consent doesn't mean a lack of no, it means explicitly that someone agreed to the parameters of the situation upfront, and those parameters don't change without agreement from all parties involved.
Consent can be revoked, sure. But it needs to be there in the first place consent is not something you have until you lose it. Consent must be obtained first.

Yeah, to both @kittyrawrrawr for giving us a good example of how it feels for a lot of people, and to @parisqeen for reminding everyone that it isn't the victims fault, and it gets better.
I do want to shed some light to another side of this: Imagine you are in a dark bar, a tall well toned man gets handsy with you. Imagine in this circumstance that you are a woman who works at a computer and spends her free time watching Netflix and taking care of her cat [not a physically strong woman is what I'm saying]. Imahine you went to the bar with a friend, but that friend left an hour ago because her kid brother needed a ride home from some party he shouldn't have gone to. So you are alone, you aren't personally physically strong, and this man looks like he is. He has already shown he has no respect for your consent as he is already foundling your ass. What can you do? What should you do?

Printer ink is a bad choice. You can get India ink for like 17$ a quart on Amazon. Which would allow you to fill your super soaker for only $1,462 . Assuming the orginal size posted is correct. Honestly that seems like a excessively huge water gun.

The link is a scam. They work as follows: 1. Gives promises of you being able to make lots of money on the internet 2. But, you have to give us a little money so we can teach you how 3 give money 4. Be taught how to trick other people into giving you money 5. People give you money so you can teach them how to make money on the internet by tricking people.
It's a ponzi scheme. Eventually the pyramid collapses leaving lots of people out money, but the people at the very top walked away rich before the pyramid came down. Always be weary of anything that promises you lots of money but you must give a little upfront. Obviously there are legitimate trainings that exist that you must pay for that are profitable to obtain. However it's always important to verify the legitimacy of such things.

Orange oil works really well to keep cats away from things. Because they hate the smell. But don't go crazy with it, it doesn't take much. You dont want your cat avoiding the entire room

The buoyancy added to a teddy bear underwater is very limited due to it soaking up so much water.

It's not just social media. But I do agree. Unfortunately people who have something that's bad will often hold up this like the above post as justification for staying with the person who is bad for them. Or worse, people who are bad for their partners will hold this up as a reason why their partner can't leave.

Like, yes and no. Don't give up on something good just because it takes work. Relationships are hard and they take work. And you will lose out on good if you aren't willing to work for it. BUT you also shouldn't stay with someone who isn't good for you, just because you loved them once.

Guys, she never said she had been by the child's side for 12 years. The implication seems to be actually that the child is still breathing feeding, probably isn't very old.

You are assuming standard size sponges and standard sized bears. We know spongebob is fairly standard size because of the spongebob movie. Therefore we must conclude that the bears are small. The bears are bar probably only weight a few grams. What's actually impressive here is that sponges don't have muscles. Like, not they are weak. They literally do not possess muscles. Spongebob's clothes should be a helluva lot of extra effort to carry with him. The fact that he can lift these teddy bears is very impressive.

...may be true, that doesn't make it right. I understand that people hurt each other out of a misguided sense of making their loved one "better" in some way. I also realize this often stems from unresolved issues that the abuser is suffering. That doesn't make the behavior acceptable. And at the end of the day, its important to keep abusive people from being able to abuse you, even if they do love you. Even if you love them too.

Maybe a little passive aggressive, but I do agree with the sentiment. Being a good mom is hard, and the incredible women who mother well should be celebrated. But bringing a child into this world should not obligate the child to celebrate you in and of itself.
I get it. I definitely called the woman who spent literal years criticizing my every mistake and mocking my tears to wish her a happy Mother's day. And if I did not have to work a 12hr shift that day I probably would have stopped by. And I did that because despite all the bad things, there was a lot I did appreciate and I do love her. But no one should feel like they have to wish an abusive parent a happy anything.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard "She's family" as a reason to keep someone in your life and "because she loves you" as a justification for emotional abuse. Both are bullshit. Blood relation does not mean you should tolerate being mistreated. And while "She is hard on you because she loves you."...

I always taken it to mean "People who care about this are stupid, and don't count. No one should care." Which has always caused me to assume they were ignorant to the importance of whatever they have said "who cares" to. Which is why my response is always to educate.

...cartridges available if you can keep a hold of your pen long enough for this to matter. Because they use pilots G2 ink, the cartridges are really easy to find, even for the colorful ones. The largest downside is that the ink also smudges easily, which is a problem for me personally.
I typically get Zebra's eco Sarasa clip pen. It's also a retractable gel, but it doesn't smudge near as easily as the pilot's. They are also cheap, which is nice because I leave them at work and don't worry too much about my coworkers using them. They do have to be bought online where I an at, and I haven't found replacement cartridges for them. But if you pens get stolen/lost easily, this matters a lot less. And I leave these at work, where a co worker will just pitch a pen that isn't working.
There are other cheaper options, but I avoid them because I need a little more reliability in my pens. I haven't tried too many pens, so I can't speak for a lot of them. Zebra makes good cheap pens.

From and environmentalist perspective, this is actually useful information. This student used more than 24 pens in 4 years. That's going through atleast one pen every two months on average. And I can tell you with absolute certainty that there are people who go through more.
And usually these pens are made from plastics and end up in landfills.
I'm personally a huge fan of Seltzer's 7 year pens. They write well and have nice designs. They contain enough ink to write 1.7 meters a day for seven years. Refill cartridges are available as well. They are a great choice if you write a lot and don't struggle with losing your pen. Unfortunately mine was stolen. And with the pens being like $9 a pen, plus shipping, I haven't replaced it yet. When I do I will order a few to give as gifts.
If you struggle with losing your pens, or having them stolen, I recommend getting a recycled pen. Pilot's bottle pens (B2P) are widely available, can be brought in multiple colors, and have replacement...

Well @dukedom, its insulting. Think about the worst thing you've ever experienced. Think about how upsetting that was to you. That experience isn't valid because you weren't suffering enough. Because others have it worse, you shouldn't be upset.
I'm making a point, obviously your emotions are valid and you have every right to be upset. I'm sure it was upsetting.
When you perpetuate the idea that you should be grateful for what you have, what you are really saying, whether you mean to or not, is that people are wrong to feel unhappy with their circumstances because what they have could be worse.

...for those more fortunate than myself. And that I've found is harder. It's easy to feel bad for someone who has it worse. But it's hard to have compassion for someone who has it better than you. And that's a problem. It's a problem that we look around and see suffering every day but only suffering worse than our own counts as suffering. And if other peoples suffering doesn't count, than we cannot help them to suffer less. The only way to reduce suffering is to first acknowledge it's there. It's a problem that taken to its logical extreme means that wealthy kids with great futures will sooner end their life than see a therapist. And we live in a world where so many people will not seek help because of the stigma associated with having mental health issues. And that, above any amount of insulting it is to be told your problems aren't real, is the reason this is bad.

These were high school students taking calculus. They were literally this worked up because they were only pulling Cs in the class and failing tests. But suffering is personally relative. These are people who had literally never struggled with anything before. They were learning how to study, and how to cope with stress, at the same time. There were like 25 kids in the class, and about half of them were in full blown crisis because they were experiencing the most stressful thing they had ever experienced. We took days off of schoolwork to have the counselor come in and talk to us about managing stress because our teacher was concerned.
And I will admit that there was a brief moment where I thought my classmates were being stupid/overreacting/crybabies.
But they weren't. They were legitimately struggling. It was the first time in my life where I thought "Thank God I suffered young. I can't imagine not knowing how to cope with stress." It helped me develop empathy...
