I am concerned that if forcing prisoners to work was illegal, but ordering community service was not, attempts would be made to pass off hard labor jobs as community service requirements. For this reason I think that even if forced labor of prisoners was illegal-and community service was requirable-regulations should be in place to prevent abuse and maintain healthy working environments for community service workers.

At least where I live, you are assigned hours of community service but you have options about how you serve it. This allows some (albeit limited) control over your working environment. They are also not jobs that are normally paid- you work along side volunteers.
And I think community service is a great option to lessen jail time or replace other consequences. But I do still think it SHOULD be an option. I think you should be presented with the option- "You can either have 6 months parole and 200 hours community service-OR- you can go to prison for six months " Most people are going to choose the community service. But you know there has to be one sorry soul with drug charges whose back is just seriously fucked up-who might think prison will be easier on their health than community service.
That being said-I am not sure I am qualified to really make educated opinions on policies regarding community service...

The conditions aren't always humane is the problem. And when you force someone to work, they have no power to negotiate better working conditions.
I'm not saying don't use prison labor, I'm saying it should be a paid opportunity as opposed to a requirement. I'm not even saying paid at the same wage rates as everyone else, after all, prisoners have rent, food, and medical bills mostly covered for them. However prisoners doing labor should be paid, and it should be optional.

You're welcome.
I would hope everyone would let the words of trolling guests be easily ignored, but someone may benefit from my insistence, so insist I shall.
And yeah, definitely. Other guest seems chill.

Even if you don't like the posts, you have to realize there are those who do.
Also, we are all trying to get by in this world, and saying things like "You are alone" can make a bad day worse. Please be conscious of your impact on human suffering.
You are never alone. In the darkest night, reach out to others and you will find strength. Hope is a torch we all carry, keep yours lit, help light others.

Alternatively, as the cookie dough does taste different from omitting eggs, you can use pasteurized egg product to eliminate the risk of salmonella from raw eggs.
That being said, the risk is low to being with, and 90% of the risk actually comes from contamination from the outside of the shells, so you can eliminate most of it by washing your eggs before you start.

I don't know how common this is, but when someone tells me "a Spanish person/person from spain" the environment in my head is someone who is white, but has moorish descent, causing them to appear less white that a french person, for example.
I have never actually been to Spain, and I have no idea how common people of moorish descent actually are in Spain. Nor do I know if that is a common view outside of Spain. I just think that if people envision what I envision, they may not think Spanish people are white at all.
I'm not saying that the view is accurate, or that its okay to dismiss people's existence due to your perception, I just think it's worth pointing out that there are reasons completely unrelated to Hispanic people to think that Spanish people aren't white.

This really isn't a good question to ask, and is a terrible way to ask it.
A better way to ask would be "Would you marry a woman who had been raped?"
Which is still a pretty shitty thing to ask.
That being said, I also think now is a good time to point out that people have baggage. And the person you marry should be someone whose baggage you can handle carrying, because sometimes they will have to lean on you. Sometimes you will need to lean on them. Ideally this is done in similar amounts.
And some people recover from being raped fairly well, but it takes a toll on everyone it happens to. I know that some people struggle with normal healthy sexual relations after the fact. Personally, I have been known to have panic attacks unexpectedly if my partner inadvertantly triggers something.
Not everyone can handle that kind of situation well. And not wanting to marry someone because their emotional baggage is too much for your wellbeing is okay.

I think the crimes should be treated independently of one another. The burden of proof always laying with the prosecution.
This would mean that there would be times when both were found innocent of criminal activity, due to lack of proof.
And the agrugement is that you shouldn't be charged with rape if the minor consented and you reasonably believed said minor was an adult (such as, the minor lied to you&appeared old enough)

... Many women don't appreciate it when you ask their age. And asking to see their ID seems strange, and maybe a little threatening. And telling her you just want to make sure she is legal is probably not going to send the right message.
So, crack down on clubs carding people at the door is probably a good move. Investigate when someone is reported with sleeping with an underage club attendee, obviously. Teens who do this should face some criminal charges. a 15 year old is still a minor, but would also be charged as a minor for something like theft. There is no reason a minor shouldn't be charged with some kind of penalty for encouraging illegal acts under false premises.
Again, given that this is the case. 15 year old rape victims should not fall into the same category as 15 year olds who actively seek sex with adults. Even if theater still counts as statutory rape, these are not even close to the same circumstances.

While I agree that one needs to get more information when selling a car, and one needs to not have sex with children, I don't think it's fair to expected people to card potential sexual partners.
You should definitely not have sex with someone who looks underage, especially without some proof they are not. But 15/16 year olds who are trying to get into clubs are also trying to look older to do so. If you would guess she is 19/20 and she is in a club that requires people to be 18+, it should be a safe assumption that she is of legal age. The same for underage boys for that matter.
There is something to be said for "plausible deniability " especially if she told you she was 19, for example. Again, its obviously different if she is 12 and looks maybe 14. Its obviously different if she told you "I'm only 16, look at my fake ID. Looks legit, huh?"
But take a second to imagine how a 22 year old woman who looks a little young for her age might react if you wanted to card her home...

Actually, I think the post is supposed to be poking at the fact that health insurance in the united states is very expensive, and you'll have to buy add on for dental and vision. And EA also has games where you have to buy the game and the add ons.

Tsunami is a word English stole, and the character romanized to Tsu is just pronounced that way in Japanese.
I don't know enough to speak on the other words, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were stolen too. English is a language which corners other languages in dark alleys and ruffles through their pockets for spare words and loose grammar.

TL;DR: Well the rock isn't toxic to humans in anyway that matters to the end of using it as a dildo, it will likely dissolve inside a vagina, and will definitely kill your natural bacteria leading to an extremely high likelihood of various infections.

@title Because its expensive to run a care home. And often insurance companies will pay more for higher needs individuals, but less for lower needs. So you need to find a way to pay to run the place by having enough higher needs individuals but not so many that you need extra staff to keep up, as extra staff is expensive

Maybe, but at the point you are saying a majority of legal adults are just grown children, maybe your definition of adult is too narrow.
Especially because I know people who are the kind of jerk who believes that you are disrespecting them by not allowing them to disrespect you who otherwise have "adulting" skills. They have steady jobs, always pay their rent/mortgage, put food on the table, take their cars in for regular scheduled maintenance, ect.
Also, not only is reffing to these adults as children disrespectful to them, it's also a borderline toxic idea. Because what you are saying is "These people are not mature enough to be taken seriously " which is not a good approach to helping them improve, and moreover is hurtful to actual children. Because it is easy to assume if someone is a child, they are not mature enough to be taken seriously. Especially when childish is such a negative word.

Well, not necessarily that fast. Moreover the kids need the helmets regardless, and we actually have more people wanting to do art then we have jobs in the field. So whether this is something the artist does for charity, or is paid to do, it's still pretty cool. And its definitely not hurting anyone.

Even as a hobbyist seamstress, who finds the use of fabric scissors for anything else unacceptable, the fact that people will claim death to a kid for doing so is ridiculous.
The very simple answer is to have her pay to replace them. Fabric scissors are expensive for scissors-and the issue is they dull when used on paper and other things. This will teach value for the scissors, as well as enforce the idea that it is an important social and sometimes legal responsibility to replace other's property if you have damaged it.
