I had an uncle who lived in Darwin in the 1980s. When cyclone Tracey hit, his wife was impaled in the back of the leg by a piece of debris like that. When my uncle thought the storm was over, he got up to go to the fridge to get something to drink, but the problem was he was in the eye of the storm. He was hit pretty hard by the fridge, I can't remember how seriously injured he was but it was pretty bad

Storytime, when I was in my second last year of school I didn't study for my end of year bio paper because I was going to drop it. Anyhow, I filled in the answers as best I could and upon seeing that I had an hour to spare, I graffitied all over the diagrams. Best yet, I passed and was nearly granted bonus marks by the science department but wasn't given them because the head of the department thought it was bad.
