We had bottom and top lockers in my middle school for 7th grade. Let me just say I had the top locker, and I am very clumsy, and dropped many books on the guy below me.

It's mainly because a lot of people (like me) really like their music, and the people in the band genuinely seem to care about their fans and are just really cool people. Maybe that's just me, though. I respect your opinion, though.
