That would really be more of a side-step than an upgrade.

I haven't been on for more than half a day... probably other people don't think you are as clever or fun as you seem to. You couldn't get in my head if I tried to let you, troll.

@funsubstanceuser maybe your comment got downvoted because it was idiotic and consists of the same type of racial profiling you are supposedly against. But that's none of my business.

Stop stereotyping. 14 comments

Very true, but thatoneguy never said he was taking part in it. Whether or not someone participates, it still occurs. Organizing large events that specifically and exaggeratedly adhere to stereotypical appearances is probably not helping the "stop stereotyping" agenda. It happens to other groups, too. For instance, any fandom at movie premiers, comic con, etc.

It really depends on what you mean by universe, but you certainly cannot actually prove it is infinite in any case. Generally people mean the observable universe, even assuming they know there were other definitions of "universe".

Last time this was up we established that other animals and even plants have various methods of measuring time.

Baby creatures often go through much more drastic changes than that when they mature into adulthood.

One would think that a true fan would not corrupt the movie, book, or whatever. But, I guess random fandom couples are only a very minor nuisance compared to some of the stuff that keeps popping up on this site.

@antongustavos no... your logic is tantamount to saying that since chemotherapy drugs are the cure and they make your hair fall out, that means hair is the disease.

No. But it would be nice if people tried to help other people change their views for the better.

I'm no mathematician, but 11,100 + 14,157 = 25,257 which is more than 17,500.

That isn't how you get people to be tolerant, though. That is actually how you enforce intolerance.

This girl I have a class with was like "everyone boycott Starbucks" and I was totally with her, mentioning how low quality yet extremely overpriced their product is. Then she said it was about the cups. She got mad when I told her she should be boycotting whatever it is that was making her so ignorant.
tl;dr there really were people shallow enough to care about something so preposterous.

@man I don't understand it, either. But they make up all sorts of people into couples who aren't supposed to be. It just seems much more out of place when they make obviously heterosexual characters into homosexual couples for no reason.

I am a bit of a moron... I seriously just noticed that some people do not have stars. My brain honestly just put a star behind everyone's name. Is it for having a certain number of likes or something?

To be fair, that shit is just going on; it isn't directed at us. If the universe were actively trying to kill us, we would be quite dead. You reminded me of one of my first college classes, the professor asked us to introduce ourselves with the usual stuff, but also say what our greatest fear was. I said GRBs.

That looks like some algebra-based physics 1. It has absolutely no surprises as to anything you worked out about how the world works when you were a toddler. Then you take modern physics which tells you all of that is completely wrong.
