Xios looked at the boy and smiled sadly. "I do not know. The chosen are stuff of the old legends of this earth. I have heard only stories of them. But if I can do anything to help reveal the governments true intentions I will."

"Clang, Clang, Clang" all of a sudden the gong rimgs loud and clear. Once it stops, a loud scream pirces the silence. Then panic ensued.

So anyways I took a whole bunch of notes and pictures of what I found. It is a horrid wasteland out there. So cold and desolated. No plants animals or water in the wild. Traces of food in the cities, along with some water. No people. I found some tracks, but they were old, very old. It is scary and to hear that the people I called my savoirs were the one behind these peoples misery is sad. Very scary also. I have decided to postpone my search for a habitable land to help take down what we call the government."
He was met with applause by the men and Issac took the podium again.
" talk to him-, he paused, I never did catch your name boy. What is it? "
"Xios, Xios Melanin."
" Anyways go talk to Xios if you have any questions about his traveles."

Sitting in a circle, bickering.
Issac walked up to the podium at one corner of the hall and cleared his voice. The men stopped talking.
" hello my good men"
A course of hello father Issac rang through the hall.
" we have found a traveler who was sent out by the government..." He was cut off by yells of rebellion coming from the collected men.
" Quiet!"
The men stopped
" let me continue. He resents them and has been exploring the above world and has found more information about the land before the dark. Let us here what he has to say."
He beckons Xion to come stand in front of the podium.

Xion was shocked to see this many people in one place. He had wandered to long and he had forgotten what fresh food smelled like.
" Why would they do this to us. We are people of this planet to"
" Young one, I do not know. I do not know," His face darkens. He looked at the village with sad eyes.
" We humans used to be a thriving race. At the peak of civilization, a dark force brought down the state of our home world. Many fled for the stars. Others were stuck here. Up rose the "government". They promised to find a way to keep everyone alive, but behind our backs they cut us down."
The man led Xion deep into the heart of the village. As they approached the largest building, the man motioned for a young boy to ring the gong.
They walked up the steps into the large building. The man was soon flanked by tons of children all pulling at his robes shouting " Issac" over and over again. Xion assumed this must be his name.
They entered a large rotunda and found a collection of men

"Sheesh. Watch it. I don't like them much either. See they made me look for an area to live because I am an orphan and I am expendable. I have been on the road for months. I have seen amazing things, and horride fates."
The man in the front let his gaurd down a little. He gestured to xion to follow him and he did.

The stench followed him as he wandered the oasis. He found a sign that said something xion assumed was the name of the area, but it was overgrown.
In the center of the oasis, he found a small group of people, huddled around a small fire.

The men heard him and suddenly turned around and drew their weapons. Xion threw his arms up by his head, startled.
"I am sorry to disturb you. I came across this oasis by accident. I was sent out by the government to find a habitable area. I think I found one"

Xion went city after city, not finding anyone. He did find though, an abandoned museum. The history of the planet was one of the exibits, and he quickly took out a notebook and wrote down every piece of information. He was overjoyed with this find, as it answered many questions he had.
As he rode on he encountered a mountain range. The icy wind bit through his cloak throwing him off trail. As his horse lost his footing on the slippery track, he fell. Down and down he tumbled.

At the bottom he found himself in a small hole with a door carved in the stone. He pushed it open.
Brilliant light shone through the doorway. Xion stared in awe at the hidden valley full of green trees and running water.

After months of lonley travel, he came to a ruined city. His voice echoed through the street, with no reply.
No one was in its barrened streets.as he searched, Xion found an old photograph of a laughing child, and smiled.
