I have the same problem- sort of. I call myself my real name, I introduce myself that way to everyone I meet but my fiancee calls me a nickname and wont use my real name. She calls it my "slave name" lol

A) the owners dont know the first thing about makeup
B) they don't have to ask me to do that, I show up looking put together out of my own sense of dignity and professionalism.
