It's about a mother fox who almost dies by getting attacked by a hunter in the past. And her baby son sees snow for the first time and his paws get cold and he becomes sick. Therefore, he needs to go into town and buy mittens. The mother tells her son to go in the middle of the night and knock on the shop with the glasses on it and not open the door but stick in his LEFT hand. Then the mother uses magic and turns his left paw into the hand of a little boy and gives him some money to buy the mittens. Soooooo he trots into town and finds the store. But, he accidently sticks in his RIGHT hand. The man accepts the money anyway but tests it to make sure it's real and won't turn into leaves or anything. The man gives the little fox his mittens and he trots back home. When he got homehe excitedly tells his mom that he accidently stuck in his fox paw but the man gave him the mittens anyway. The mother says okay and sends her child into bed. After he's asleep she goes outside states
