@bethorian ancient Greece was a bunch of individual nation states, I assume you're mostly talking about Athens? With an agricultural economy propped up by slaves taken in war, so... I disagree. My first thought was Greece too, but I don't think it's true

I really liked this movie! It was way more intelligently conceived and crafted than I expected, the performances were mostly really good, and it got so dark in such unexpected ways that it really took me by surprise.
