marcolozano in slang style spanish is a common joke in my country. Hombre relajate y disfruta el chiste, es funsubtance, no nazisubstance. Also the joke stems from the play on the conjugation "a colgarte" (as is "voy a colgarte") in which when spoken in quick succession in most dialects it sounds like "colgate" with most accents... damn I hate explaining jokes...

I wasn't born in a english-speaking country (I speak Spanish), but I can relate to what the OP is saying... and I can also relate to the fact if I can speak or write better English than most native speakers... we have a problem. At the same time, I would blame the education systems. You see, I had to learn the language completely from the bottom up; every piece of grammar and sentence structure learned from scratch. A lot of the time in middle school and high school, language art classes were too lenient with students and weren't a full requirement to graduate (I mean this in the sense that you can pass with a 50% average, every year).
