Pfft, I have an entire checklist when I leave the house that makes me look like I'm doing the macarena. Mainly because I refuse to carry a purse.

Actually, this might be technically possible. If their mother was a surrogate for her ex and his new wife then got pregnant with her and her new husband's child at the same time they might be considered step twins. So, very unlikely, but still possible I suppose.

Yeah, you'd probably have to carve it in sections just to be able to move it afterwards.

Also, it hasn't disappeared completely, it's just a lot more rare. According to the WHO, there are usually 1000-2000 cases (globally) reported each year but the actual number is likely much higher.

So I was only able to find a single article claiming to have found a tardigrade (egg) in a meteorite and said article seems a bit sketchy. The egg was claimed to have been found in the meteorite MIL 03346. This meteorite was found in December 2003, not 2014 as the article claims. And the entry for that meteorite on NASA's website makes no metion of anything found inside it. Granted, It is theoretically possible for certain species of tardigrade to survive the trip, just highly unlikely.

While they can survive some of the most extreme conditions (including space for a limited time), they evolved on Earth. The reason they look so alien is because they're extremely old. The oldest fossil we have is from 530 million years ago. That is just after the first appearance of multicellular life and they haven't changed a hell of a lot since then.

For those that are curious, this article explains why meds in the US are so expensive: https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2016/11/30/12945756/prescription-drug-prices-explained
Also in this particular woman's case she could use walmart's brand of Novolin. It's only $24.88 and it's actually a bit longer acting so she'd have fewer injections. Granted, she shouldn't have to switch, but it's better than nothing.

The reason we forget things when going into a different room is because crossing doorways or other boundaries causes your brain to reset. Essentially your brain thinks that you don't need the information anymore and purges the memories to make room for new ones.

I'm not saying that ALL diet Coke drinkers are overweight, but it seems like the vast majority are. However, this could be just a coincidence as about 70% of Americans are either overweight or obese.

The T. rex roar from the original Jurassic Park film was a combination of a baby elephant’s squeal, an alligator’s gurgling, and a tiger’s snarl.

These muscles are actually the same ones that females use Kegel exercises for. There are also Kegel exercises for men that are supposed to improve sexual performance. Which makes sense as these are the muscles that flex during orgasm (in both sexes). So if you have greater control over them, you'll have more control over how long you'll last.

The group of muscles that control this are called Levator Ani (part of the pelvic floor/diaphragm) and usually can't flex independently. :)

Are you sure it's not just a Savannah cat? That price would be about right and you don't need an exotic pet license for it.
