I know some placed can have several days or weeks of sunlight or night because of the location but wouldnt the sun be giving off more light? How is everything so dark despite the sun clearly in the sky? Am I missing something? -_-

I have a middle name that only friends and family call me by and friends normally forget what my first name is but at work/ professionally I go by my first name, so despite just having just a first and middle name I've managed to separate them to a personal name and professional name.
