Doing no prior research, I would probably agree. I don't see how this may seem odd or any more odd than knowing fertilizer is a combination of chemicals and dung

I guess you can always find the positive side of negative things so i get your point @creativedragonbaby . I was just saying I didn't quite learn the proper one and there was no reason to make the details so indicative of real societal issues rather than just about beauty and acceptance. It's to be a kids story

As a kid I remember the story being a Cayuga duckling being born in a swans nest and the story talking about learning to accept who you are.. now I just see it as the surprisingly racist version
