It's only wire ropes, many of them won't be able to cross it unless they're holding on to the, also rope, railing. Even that's unstable.

It's like how on Fairly Oddparents where you never find out Timmy's parent's name. They're always referred to as Timmy's dad and Timmy's mom, or Mr. And Mrs. Turner
