We take on many personalities upon this platform. Racist jokes are jokes as well. If you cannot handle them, that is your own problem and not ours.

We often forget the users on here are too PC for good quality jokes.

It should be the team. Individual praise for massive group efforts are lame. The guy who stepped on the moon < the team that made the impossible happen. But media coverage ruins it.

I think you're just blindsided by the bigger picture. Calling me stupid is such a childish thing in this matter. The media and most of the net are claiming this woman is responsible without mentioning the massive team. Because "girl power woo". Grow up and mention the actual team name and group photos from those hard working scientists who are getting literally no recognition for the scientific marvel they've pulled off.

It is good they are recognized for their roles, however it is not good that 90% of the coverage I have seen across the net of the black hole image has been articles saying and I quote "the WOMAN behind the first ever black hole picture" not the TEAM. As if she was the sole reason this image existed.

Why does it matter that it's all female? Had it said "all-male" they'd be called sexist.

It was a team of over 200 people. The fact that feminists are prominently showing only one female prompting many to believe it was her doing, Sickens me.

I mean, he's not wrong. Make fun of them all you want, unless the girl has a legitimate love interest they are with, in today's day and age that is how it will go. I happen to have a gay friend who did just this so both of them would not show up alone. The truth hurts but you cannot hide from it.

That doesn't look like art. Someone was caught vandalizing and forced to clean it as they should have.

Sounded more like someone triggered at a nicely timed racist joke.

He makes a good point, it's a swim suit not a beach walking suit. The guy is not swimming because black people can not swim.
This was a quick interpretation of guests joke.

There's no other way to word it. They are the normal staff at a restaurant in comparison.
