I’m sorry, I cannot agree with that. The man wasn’t doing anything wrong. He was well within his rights. The police officer was way out of line. Complacency is not the answer when it comes to law enforcement officials such as this one being a harasser. Clearly, he was targeted. He had no obligation to give ID. His behavior wasn’t dangerous. Black men have died by being complacent. He obviously wanted his “last minute” (if it had come to that) being a martyr to his basic human rights. I don’t want to live in a country where law enforcement is /above/ the law...that is literally a root of fascism.

A wild video from start to finish. The heading police officer on this case has since resigned (but will likely apply elsewhere). The man lives there, and picks up trash as an extra job. The cop would not stop harassing him. Eventually, the officer’s superiors (and 6 other officers) came to the scene, and determined nothing was amiss. 8 officers for one black man picking up trash on his own property.

Ok, but Larson’s acting was static. It’s not entirely her fault, since I’m sure she didn’t have too much time to research the role. The character was just forced into the series at the last minute. I liked her in Scott Pilgrim and The Gambler. I just don’t like Captain Marvel for the same reason I don’t like Superman; that is, I do not care for near-omnipotence. To me, these characters are lazy and uninspired.

How would you even know that prior, though? And maybe that incident was seeing her fellow soldiers get blown to pieces, and she not being too far away, experienced part of a shockwave. I just don’t see how you can say for certain that one experience shouldn’t be able to traumatize one in wartime.

Right. Again, I would like to emphasize that my view leans more towards post-birth. But yes, I agree.

It’s not that, they are trying to cut to save time. Unfortunately, it’s a tried and true method.

Could you be any more respectable? P.s. I hope our last conversation is water under the bridge, as there was a huge misunderstanding...although, I kind of got a kick out of how you went off on me. Somehow, that felt neat.

See, I’m from WI and only say that ironically . Maybe it’s more of a Minnesotan/Michigan thing.

By the way, I am not disagreeing with your point. I think if the father doesn’t want to be involved, he should have to pay child support. All I’m saying is why is my query being actively ignored?
*Edit: this is only for a pregnancy that they both wanted, not a rape scenario. Just so we are clear.
