See, I agree with your ideal, as in it shouldn’t be breaking the law. However, given current circumstances and legislation, it is breaking the law (at least with route of administration of seeking asylum).

I get what you are saying in this context, but does breaking the law constitute this sort of action? Is the law a proper unit to measure ethics? Would you follow the law if you had to kill your child because they were born a certain way? At some point, a line must be drawn. Again, in context you are correct: the easiest way to avoid incarceration is to not break the law.

I’ll give it to her that she knows exactly what she wants. And there are dudes out there that will do this. I just think it’s unfortunate how she thinks this is an ok attitude to have. That’s his earned money, not yours. I can understand 50% if you’re a stay-at-home parent, or are out of work and rely on partner/spouse’s income, but expecting 70% of income for no reason is absolutely ridiculous.
