If so many people are arguing with each other, it may be that traps are sect of restricted bisexualism. I know it’s not meant to be taken seriously, but traps are essentially “male with a female body.” So, great for someone who is attracted to primarily women, but can appreciate male genitalia. The opposite would be true for a “reverse trap.” That would be someone who is primarily attracted to the male form, but also likes vaginas. And then there are those who will just fuck anybody. So are traps gay? My conclusion is: yeah, they’re kinda gay.

Actually, there is a reason this type of running is prevalent in anime. For one, it’s much more silent. Secondly, it absolutely does conserve energy, allowing for a push to attain a slightly greater speed. Finally, the caveat to all this, is that you actually have to be trained in the arts for this to be an effective way to run. Weebs from the USA who are just imitating the style will not, of course, be able to fully reap the benefits. Imagine a young Star Wars fan waving about a lightsaber with no regard to the art of stage combat...of course it looks silly, and is ineffective. You all are basing your arguments off observation of complete novices. When do you think you will ever witness a true master running this way? I’d say it’s unlikely. I know this from researching various arts, not from watching anime. That is the difference in credibility.

As someone who gets one hour of sleep per night (hyperinsomnia, no medication helps), having to stay up a grueling 23 hours/day is absolutely NOT FUN, no matter how productive I am. You don’t want it.
